Hello

I'll give you a short intro, 53yom, paramedic with Scottish Ambulance Service. Married with 2 grown up kids and 2 gchildren.

I'm driving a Mitsubishi Pajero 2.8TD,looking to change in the near future for New:thumbup:vRs.At the moment can't make my mind up if I should go for estate or the hatch,it will be diesel.

When driven conservetivly what would an average mpg be.

And a general question, 140PD and 170CR what does thePD/CR stand for.

Thxs

Hello and Welcome to Briskoda :D

welcome along

Welcome :)

welcome to briskoda, make sure to check out the scottish region of briskoda.

PD = Puse duse if I'm right in thinking and CR is common rail.

Hope this helps

Hiya.PD is "Pompe Duse", which is a VAG trademark for their unit injector system.CR, as Davy says, is common rail, and I think is all you'll find in a new diesel these days. There's a thread on the differences and why the switch in the Maintenance and Performance forum if you're interested.
