Noisy New Spring

Featured Replies

Hello,

I've just got a new spring on the drivers front side,

the car never made any noise going over bumps before,

but now it sounds like there no spring there at all,

really noisy like plastic hitting something when i go over bumps,

Do new springs take time to set?

Or should i take it back to the garage and tell them about it?

Thanks in advance.

Take it back - they've obviously not roadtested it, which for something like that would be essential... :thumbdwn:

:iagree: - Be careful though, because not only have they not road-tested it, but something's out of place or not correctly tightened up.

Springs should always be replaced in pairs., and, as others have stated, get it back to who ever did it asap.
