Does any one know if there is a VCDS/VAS setting that can be changed to increase the time that the hill-hold function activates for?

I supsect that this might be mechanical rather than controlled by the computer. However, you are right about it being too short. I had a Legacy Outback prior to my Scout and the hillhold clutch stayed on until you lifted the clutch pedal, even after you took your foot of the brake. More than a few times now I have been caught out by the Scout and started rolling backwards so have gone back to using the handbrake again :thumbdwn:
