Today on the way to work, a light kept flashing in the top left side of the dash, is it the oil warning light?

On the way home from work it was gone.

Oil warning is usually a red light with a pic of an oil can...not sure where it is on the Octy dash without looking.

The oil warning light is in the shape of an oil can (surprise ). It can blink a number of colours, all of which have a different meaning.

hmmmn it like a measuring stick or thermometer above some wavy lights.

was your car not suppiled with an owners manual?

could be a malfunction in your rectal MAF sensor?

Sounds like the water temp symbol? What was the water temp guage showing at the time?

It certainly isn't the oil warning light...

Was at work when this was posted so had no access to manual...

The temp gauge read cold as i just fired it up.

Suggestion, keep manual in glovebox?

I guess so, will have to remove the equaliser...
