Whiny Ford's

Featured Replies

Just got a Fiesta 1.25 courtesy car (Crap:thumbdwn:) and the engine (maybe gearbox) is always whining. I can remember my mums old B reg fiesta when I was a kid doing the same, and the 1.8 focus she had later. Is this a general trait of Ford's, I notice pretty much all of their petrols to it, especially on the overrun at low speeds:confused:

My Mk1 Fiesta does it! :)

"They all do that sir!"

I've had plenty of Fords in my time but not one with a whiney box or over-run issues.

Not seen any that do that myself.

Can't say I've ever come across one that does that..
