cheers guys..I love it..question about remaps tho..bit of a newbie when it comes to this so apoligise for my ignorance n possibly thick sounding questions !! i understand what one is n what it does, but seen some remapped to 204 bhp n others done to 225..is the amount down to where u take it n what software they use ? i want to get 230 out of it..n e ideas / info welcomed !! cheers

to get that mate youll need a fair few other things lol

Down pipe and cat, cat back 2.5", and FMIC? TIP too i recon and panel filter and a modded air box.

custom remap.

with a std car and jus a remap youll get 200 ish. air filter and cat back i will say around 200-210 then cat n dp around 220 i would say.

Welcome :)

There are quite a few "postal remap" companies out there that offer a remap for £95. I've just had one from customtuning.co.uk and I have to say it's fantastic value for money.

Good luck with choosing a remap - anything you go for is going to make a huge difference to the performance regardless of the final power output!

(oh yeah, don't text speak on here - people don't like it :D)

Edit - after having the remap 10 days the car broke down with an internal ECU failure, causing me no end of grief and costing loads of money, NONE of which Custom tuning are willing to help me with

Thanks for the advice..guy at work has put me in touch with a local company who do professional tuning and I had a chat with the guy there..he says a standard remap with no other mods will get me 207 bhp and cost £400.. then I'd have to get a new exhaust system and stuff which would take me up to 230..but thats another £400 so maybe not just yet !!
