Outing to Beale Park

Featured Replies

Thanks to thebrymar's suggestion for going to a park :) I needed it after this weekend's news :(

Anyway, here are a few from me. I need more practice with the big 120-300mm lens, and my left arm is approaching Arnie's size ;) (couldn't be bothered to bring a monopod!) :o

Just about all of the bird shots are through cages, with thin wire mesh (about 1cm x 2cm grid) so lost a fair bit of sharpness and contrast. Also, next time, I'll take my D200 to benefit from the 1.5 crop; nearly all of these are cropped :(

Great pics - so the excuse for the 'strong arm' is a lens ;) right  :P

Haven't been there for ages, must have been a lovely sunny day
