Bluefin performance

Featured Replies

can anyone tell me what is the 0 - 60 of the 2.0 TFSI with the bluefin in place

just my guestimate from having a similar remap, id have said mid to low 6's if you can use the power without cooking your clutch or lighting up the wheels excessively

6ish seconds is about right.

tested these on my stopwatch using indicated speed on my Tom Tom,

30-100mph in 5th - 15.05 seconds

30-100mph in 6th - 22.44 seconds

plus as a comparison to equivalent cars mine outpulls std focus STs and Astra VXRs easily and i kept right up to the back of my friends bumper on his nurburg edition VXR.

Wouldn't like to say!!! But as Dan says, it would be easy to loose traction or cook your clutch!

Therefore I'd not worry about 0-60 times, in truth it's more about improved driveability, with sharper responses and better torque figures, as per Simons post ;-)

i havent timed a 0-60 personally that was a rough guess, but i bet it wouldnt be far off. its the in gear accelration where the improvment is and thats where all the real world driving takes place. She is phenominal on the motorway,

Fellow Bluefin owner here since December - very pleased indeed.
