Yorkshire events - SOCGB

Featured Replies

Hi Folks

I've had a list of dates through from the Yorkshire co-ordinator of Skoda Owners Club GB

Sunday 3rd May

National Coal Mining Museum Wakefield meet in the car park at 11am.

Sunday 14th June

Temple Newsam, Leeds

Sunday 5th July

Rufford Park on the A614 to Nottingham

SATURDAY 1st August

Meal at The Bluebell Inn, Rotherham

Sunday 6th September

Sewerby Hall and Gardens, Bridlington

Sunday 4th October

Downtown Shopping & Garden Centre, Grantham

As ever vintage and modern welcome.

Sewerby Hall and Gardens are walking distance from my house (although that would kind of defeat the purpose!)

I'll try and get the day off work. If I get it then I'll be there.

cool. Thanks Darren. Will deffo get a long to some of these certainly the sewerby hall one as i can just combine it with a visit to my dad who lives in Brid.

It certainly did!

Don't forget that the next one is Sunday 6 September at 11am

Meeting point is the Sewerby Hall estate car park (Free)

(Sadly for me, it clashes with Bingley Music Festival)

However hopefully some of you guys will turn up.

I will probably be there Darren... I know the place well and there are a few "entrances" that allow you to get into the Zoo for free :)

Any ideas around the starting time etc yet?

Going to be a steady drive any where?

Thanks

11am in the estate car park is the info I got from Janet.

As for a little drive out, perhaps you'd like to think of a route

and then see what interest there is on the day.

Cool. Thanks Darren.

Will have a think and see what I can come up with. I'm sure someone would be up for a nice steady run out somewhere.

And yeh Rob will give 'em a wave. Forgot they were up in that area. You think they might be up for joining us? :P

Shame on you Phil. It's only £4 odd to get in anyway and they survive on honesty box donations through the winter when they can't afford to employ staff.

However if anyone likes clothes they should look in the town centre. People often leave stuff outside charity shops in bin bags. Get there before the shop opens and Hey Presto!! Free clothes!!

Only joking mate however any hints on how to get cheap coffee from the robbing council run coffee shop is greatly appreciated!

Anyway by a mad twist of fate I can probably make this one. I had my shifts changed so that I get petrol bombed and showered with bricks through the week in exchange for the weekend off! Joy.

Lol... I will add that this was while I was at college at was skint and would do silly stuff like this with friends!

Yeh coffee shop is pretty pricey I seem to recall but would probably be cheaper to grab a drink elsewhere especially if we go for a run somewhere.

Phil

You had friends???

:D

Oi!!! How very dare you

I had and still have plenty of friends thank you :D
