Thought I notices a funny noise in 2nd gear last week seems to be getting louder when ever the car (diesel Vrs) is slowing down about 10-15 mph sounds like a dry friction rubbing sound anyone else had problems with this box?

Mines did that from new. Very noticable when it changed into 2nd slowing down. I thought it was a gearbox bearing. Since the box didn't explode I sort of forgot about it. I've only noticed it a few times recently. I can't actually say if it went or I just accepted it!!

Not heard of that before but i have only been in an R32 with a DSG box before and that mainly was accelerating

If it sounds like a problem get it into your local dealership. After all that's what your Warranty is for
