alarm question

Featured Replies

i pick up my Fabia 2 1.2 November 2007 on Tuesday.when i was looking at the info sheet stuck on the window it said it had a Alarm but when i asked the salesman he said no it didn't have one just an immobilizer.

did the alarm come as standard ?

thanks

You should definately have an alarm as standard. The alarm isn't on the 1, but is standard on 2 and 3. I know the level 2 definately has an alarm, as my wife has a Nov 2007 level 2 and locked me in whilst buying petrol, forgetting the internal movement sensors. I had to sit there, siren blazing, until she paid and finally returned

Hello,

As said, would have thought alarm as standard, on your model of car, and argued that it stated an alarm on the sales sheet.

Trades and Descriptions would be your ploy, in your arguement that you bought it with an alarm, and want them to fit one, as there wasn't one fitted at time of sale, or, compensation to cover cost to having an alarm fitted.

Check with Skoda with your chassis No and registration number handy, to check if alarm was fitted as standard.

Good-luck. Ian. 26/04/2009
