getting to the oil breather filter...

Featured Replies

Well the smoking problem on my fun seemed to be the oil breather being partially blocked, pressuring the crankcase and forcing oil past the rings.

After my mate sucked on it hard enough (oer) it suddenly popped and loads of oil came up the breather. Any easy way of getting to the ( presume gauze?) filter on the back of the engine. I was struggling to get to it!

But anyways since a good run out last night its running brilliantly! Only the tiniest bit of smoke which i think it more from the remnants in the inlet etc.

:D im happy, saved me buying a new engine for something silly simple!

no easy way to get to it, you will need to be underneath though
