My Y-plate 1.9SDI Fab Classic estate just passed its MOT with flying colours :)

74K on the clock and i still get 65mpg to and from work, this car was a bargain so glad i brought it.

Yep it's great when you bag a bargain car that sticks a smile on your face and keeps money in your wallet.

Glad it's still going strong mate. The SDI is a good little engine and does't feel as slow as its figures suggest. A friend had the engine in a Polo and it was fine once wound up.

Lovin' the thread title! :D

Tchoh!

Loved the SDI engine myself, too!

Aye... she's a good strong little engine and should troop on for many more miles.

Think that N/A diesels can be quite fun really... I loved my citroen shed-x 1.9D had a suprising amount of low down grunt!

our old works van(2001 VW Caddy) had the 1.9 SDi timing belt snapped at 200,000 miles but she had a hard life... lol not sure if it had been serviced as regular as it should etc but its been repaired and i still see it about.... miss it... lol
