welcome along to briskoda, as Ken says check out the scottish members section, we aim to have meets once a month, one in Kilmarnock and one in edinburgh on a monthly rota.

I know that, oh and I prefer Islays and West Highland malts to Strathspeys anyway.

Call me a cave dweller...but I prefer Bushmills to most of our native malts.Mmmmmm...Bushmills.....

The thing that really killed Irish for me was some years ago holidaying in Dublin, and being told how they moved the Jameson's distillary 100 miles and it still tasted the same; contrast that with Islay or Dufftown where you get 8 distinct Malts within a few miles of each other. So I go for complex flavours of just a smooth taste.
