after fitting a connects2 interface i noticed when i removed the radioa green cable

coming fron the harness witch had a bear end thinking it had come from one of the blocks nothing obvious any ideas

after fitting the connects2 there was distortion from the usb coming thruogh the speakers but radio and cd work fine i asked for usb003 interface and they sent me usb 009 could this be the problem they said it should work i checked the web and it was for a golf ,i have a octavia 55

any ideas would be grateful

How olds the car, the later cars have the CD changer grounding pin in a different location which leads to the symptoms you describe.

the car is a 55 plate the device came with 2 earths so to be on safe side i conected the both of them then replaced the cd changer block
