hi just a quicky my interior lights not working when i open the doors seems to me is quite common anyone no if this would be covered on warrantry ive still got about 5 months left to go if not is it just a day job to sort the wiring out passenger front side thanks

Depending on the amount of damage, and whether or not the interior is damp and all that, might take more than a day to sort out.

But definitely get it in if it is still under warranty. Sounds to me like blocked pollen filter seal leaking / plenum chambers blocks allowing water into the car..

If you have had it regularly serviced from skoda then you should be covered mate

Just had mine at the dealers for 2 months and it was not covered by the approved war. as it excludes water ingress. If its a new car get it back as soon as you can.

i thought water ingress is covered as they are supposed to check it during each service as its a known design flaw. If it isnt covered then its just an insult to the user as we continue to service from skoda and folk out the extra bucks

It says clearly in my approved handbook what is not covered and water ingress is there at the top. I did get some help to pay the bill which would have been > 4.5K !!!!!!!!

In the real world it was getting very close to the PX values now.
