Hi Guys,

My 2000 1.9SDI Fabia has a leak between the power steering pump and the reservoir. (the join). Does anyone know the procedure for repairing this? is it possible to reseal or are new parts required?

Well, I seem to remember that this "lot" is one unit, or assembly, so that means, to you and I that no spare parts are available. There is a re-conditioner though and they would either sort your pump assembly or trade your one in against a fully re-conditioned one with warranty. They are called www.bba-reman.com - remember to work out if your steering system is Koya or TRW first. The TRW system has vertical ribs on the reservoir lid and this lid has a small "mushroom" on the dipstick end. I'd think that your system will be a Koya.
