Eiback Pro-Kit lowering springs ...

Featured Replies

Is £142.95 delivered a good deal?

I'm looking for a small drop, will this work with OEM dampers, then replace with new shocks at some point in the future?

I paid £155 for mine, delivered. Sounds good to me

They will work with OEM dampers, would bother replacing them with anything else until the are fooked

I've got a set in my garage, they came off my car when I bought it and put coilovers on.

yup, price matched a quote for me a few weeks ago which included fitting and geo setup

The drop will be a little reduced, it won't be be as much as you think. They quote -25mm over the OE springs but as your car springs have already settled and compressed since new you are more likely to see a 15mm. drop in reality.

Yes you can use OE shocks but when you come to change them later it will mean another few hours labour charge to dismantle the suspension again.

True in a way, but when I had my Eibach's fitted (at 30k), measurements were taken, and it definately gave a 25mm drop as advertised. You could tell as soon as the car was lowered onto the floor from the ramps that it was lower than before. 15000 miles on and the Eibach's are settling in nicely, it looks lower still now than when 1st fitted.

When you had them fitted did you shorten the bumpstops? Just wondered as I've read a few times on a couple of threads that they should be reduced to improve the ride comfort! If you haven't, have you had any concerns or is everything sound as a pound?

Yes they were cut down, do a search on here, thats how I found out how much to cut off. Think they were just glued together, but it doesnt really matter as they wont move much anyway.

Everything is still going smoothly - touch wood!
