Prescott Hill Climb classic car weekend - photos not for 56k

Featured Replies

This sunday I went to the Prescott Hill Climb course in Gloucestershire where they were having a Classic Car day for charity.

They had a huge number of classic cars there - better than some shows I've seen and plenty of them were being used as they should be - flat out :D

There were half a dozen MG SVs there (not really a classic yet , but nice to see and hear)

Nice. Always fancied a visit to Prescott.

I'd not been before but I can thoroughly recommend it.

The only other hill climb track I've been to is Shelsley Walsh and this was far better. There's a much better view of the track , plenty of places to get good photographs from and plenty of parking and facilites there.

used to get up to prescott alot when i was living back in Gloucester. never failed to be a fantastic day out. watching some of the championship cars doing 0-100 in 5 seconds on a single track road is something to behold

Loving the Aston. Can't see Mike Williams in his 928S4 in your pics :)

I've just looked through the full set of 300 or so photos and don't seem to have one of him.

I was right at the top of the hill and had just started to walk back down when a 928 went past. It was the only one I saw there (hordes of 911s and at least one 944 though) and I did peer inside wondering if it might be you (couldn't remember what colour yours was)

Mine's paler blue than his, and I was away at a driving day in Hampshire anyway :)

Lots more nice stuff there - like a Gordon-Keeble, for instance. Never seen one in the flesh.
