True recognition of Skoda's amazing recent performances in the WRC championships strangely do not seem to appear in this excellent website . At the moment , we are up there with Ford and Subaru with 2 drivers in the points on the last round .

I mention this in view of the amazing strength that the Skoda platform has demonstrated over recent years against teams with vastly superior engines and budgets .

This is a great tribute to the Octavia for it has only a couple of rallies remaining before the WRC Fabia comes on stream .

Very very true.

We did not start out to cover Skoda's motorsports in great detail, mainly due to not wanting to tread on the bouncing chzech site who's main focus was the WRC. However as the site grows and becomes perhaps a more common focal point then more data and info will be added. Initially via News articles (as we have been adding for a while ) But more interactive details will come along when time permits.

I was amazed at the amount of coverage C4's WRC program gave Skoda this month. I hope any pray we see more, Dider certianly has the courage to cut it given a better car, to finish above any of the "big" teams will be a great sucess. I guess as Ford found out relability has to be certain, or as much as it can be...
