Cheapest place to get Goodyear GSD3's

Featured Replies

I had a puncture in the week so need 2 new tyres. After doing a bit of searching Goodyear GSD3's I think I'll go for next. A mate of mine can get me 2 for £172.50 inc vat and he can fit them for free. Is there anywhere cheaper online? I have looked in a few places and it does seem a good price.

Sounds like a good price to me .......mates rates for my octy2 are around £110 each

205/55/16 on my old Bora were 70 quid a pop about a year ago, don't know if they've gone up.

What size tyre do you want again ? I may know of a place

Have you tried Mytyres.co.uk, Blackcircles.com and Camskill.co.uk.?

I can get them them cheaper than that (£73 each fitted in Feb) in Middlesbrough, but that's no use to you in Wales!!

I paid 175 for two fronts about 9 months ago fitted. Same place now is about 210 fitted. Seems like you've got a decent price!

This year I did not get those Goodyears, because they are useless in the cold. I bought a pair of Toyo T1-Rs at £115 delivered plus fitting from Camskill when they were on special offer. These are of course the standard 205/45 16 in size.

I can't fault the Goodyears or the Toyos in the wet or the dry. The toyos are possibly a little better in the dry, but they do not have as "crisp turn in" as the GSD3s had.

Edit: I don't know weather Phil means the price I got them or the price you have been quoted? £86 each is too not bad.
