How to build a cheap Camcorder mount for

Featured Replies

Seems to work quiet well, obviously not the furby.

I'm impressed!

The image stability helps alot as well to reduce movement.

Fantastic! This is just what the doctor ordered !

Nice. I like it! Do you think people would get out of your way when they look behind and see a camcorder. And if you were ever in an accident you have good proof!

Hehehe just as I was driving back to my house there was a Peugeot following me, must have been a bit strange to see a car with a camcorder slapping in the middle of the drivers and passengers seat :D

Chavy, looking good mate. Glad you got some use out of my instructions. I have made 3 of these now for various people and they are all amazed how stable they are, yours looks like it is of the same standard. Should get some good footage with that mate.

Cheers,

Dai

Hi big guy, yep worked a treat, thanks for the initial design. Might even put the Furby on a track now to test it or maybe I can do I run to Tesco's ;)

Mate, you know you want to take it on the track ! Just do it ! You would have to do something REALLY stupid to stack it and it is just soooooo much fun ! Get some slicks tho to save wrecking your road tyres !

:D

Sounds like you have it all planned out mate.

I was :(

Personally blame Geoff for digging up bleeding rules...

Doesn't stop me from trying though !

I won't argue with blaming Geoff ;) I was gonna buy a stickymount this week and then noticed the rules on page 2. D'oh!!

Next rule will be...

No cars are allowed on the circuit during track sessions :(

OK decided to make a Camcoder mount which is both sturdey and cheap.

For this you will need the following.

1 * Jessops Ball And Socket head Camera Mount

A chance? How about 3? At Trax it was used in my session, in John's (stopan1j) and Lee's (Leeboy). Got some nice footage on DVD if you're interested ;)

Sometimes it gets a bit shaky, but short of mounting it to the chassis, nothing is gonna stop that.
