Error codes Fabia vrs

Featured Replies

I am getting two recuring error codes on my Fabia vrs.

19557 and 19558. No other symptoms at all, only the engine warning light on the dash. I have checked the wiring loom under the bonnet and checked the wiring connectors to the EGR valve and the MAF sensor, all appears to be OK. The car is 2 months out of warrantee but had the EGR valve replaced about 6 months ago because of a leak found at service, the car has not shown any other problems. I wonder If any one else has had this problem or can offer advice on how I should proceed.

Regards, Stonepoint....

19558 - Motor for Intake Manifold Flap (V157): No Signal

19557 - Motor for Intake Manifold Flap (V157): Open or Short to Ground

If codes cleared and they don't come back, due to EGR being disconnected at some point. Otherwise EGR or Vacuum control defective.

would you get these codes if the vacuum hose was off the EGR valve ?

would you get these codes if the vacuum hose was off the EGR valve ?
