Help - passenger foot well water leaking

Featured Replies

HI,

I have a 2000 fabia.Recently I found the foot well of the front passenger got water leaking when raining. It never happned before. Could anyone suggest the reason for that, please?

Many thanks.

plenty of stuff on here , you just need to do a search

pollen filter housing , usually due to the bulkhead drain holes being filled by debris

door panel leaks , very common on the Fabia

Thanks. The water actually comes from the front (under the small storage space on the passenger side) not the door. I can even see it coming in.

Plenum chamber below windscreen will need cleaning out.

any help regarding how, where, what, etc

cheers

I think in the passenger footwell (looking up at the buttom of the dashboard) there is a chamber thing that allows you to get to the pollen filter. (Should be two sliders around a rectangle.) I think it can be accessed from there, although I could be on about something totally different/wrong!

any help regarding how, where, what, etc

cheers

It's under the black trim below the outside of the windscreen.
