Because it has been known on car forums for unscrupulous people to note a reg to a type of car and then clone the vehicle. The poor owner of the original car then gets parking tickets / speeding fines issued to them etc.....

A friend of ours ended up with around £300 worth of fines supposedly for her vehicle all in the Portsmouth area..... She never drove out of the Sheffield area in the period in question!!! She ended up having to provide proof that she hadn't been in the Portsmouth area etc... before they acknowledged that her vehicle had been cloned as it was the same type and colour as hers.

Brilliant mate! I'm so happy with mine....although seeing some of the cars in this thread is making mine seem a bit tame now.

My turbo seals went and the turbo blew up.....im now waiting on my PD150 turbo and fitting it, altho theres still a good chance the engine is siezed due to the previous turbo seals using all the oil - btw general question, anyone know if the fabia has an engine oil warning light????

It's the oil can light on the dash isn't it?

think you need to lift up the exhaust tho then be perfect
