Pop-down glasses holder in the roof by the interior light.

Classic and Ambiente don't have it, Elegance does have it, don't know about other models.

The Classic spec has about naff all anyway!

I was gutted when i came to realise it didn't even have any rear door speakers or at least a sunroof as theres no aircon!

I said, waxing the inside of the wheel, that it'll make them easier to clean for a while. But it's really just because I'm pedantic. I cleaned all the rubber seals and trim with some autoglym stuff. Looks really good right now.

Easier than wax, try Auto Glym Alloy Wheel Seal. Aerosol application and works a treat.

I'm probably being a bit blind, but where's the parking ticket holder?

Its the clear plastic 'clip' on the driver's side A pillar.

Mine has just snapped off :thumbdwn:

The dealer has just given me a free one, but it looks like you have to take the A pillar trim off to fit.

Now I don't want to drive it, just look at it in the sun coz it's so shiny :D

Parking ticket holder is ace - little sticky marks on the inside of windscreens are one of my pet hates.

I am a little easy to anger these days....

Ahhh - I've always wondered what purpose that served!

The A pillar seems pretty easy to remove after seeing the pictures on octavia-vrs.com (for the bluetooth kit install).

Just found a new one on the wipers...........I dont know if its just the new model??

When its raining with the wipers on regular wipe and you stop at a junction or roundabout the wipers go onto intermitant wiper mode automatically  a nice touch... these wipers much have there own computer thingy linked into the motion of the car or something :rofl:

Yeah, 3 minute job. Just get your fingers behind the top of it and pull straight outwards. If you have the optional side airbags, I believe there's a single screw underneath the airbag label, otherwise it just pulls right off to reveal a single screw for the ticket holder.

And having the wiperstalk on interval (or rainsensor, when fitted), the rear wiper will wipe as soon as you select reverse.

You could check it with VCDS (mine does wipe the rearwindow if the fronts are on intermittent). Havent checked this with VCDS though.

Some other thing you can change with VCDS:

Front and/or rear teardrop wiping. That is one single wipe a little after you washed the screen. Activated this on my rear window wiper. (I hate this when my front wipers do, but for the rear wiper it is practical!)

Or:

Reversing lights going off, when you open the boot. Or the second rear fog light. Or time delay for the headlightwashers, so that they dont spray the whole car if you use the windshieldwasher for the first time.
