Hi, I'm new to this. Can anyone tell me if a fixed Towbar will affect the reversing sensors on my Roomster 3 1.9TDI?

Hi there, I think it probably will.I have a detachable towball and when its attached the sensors get upset.

Tape something towbar shape and size to the bumper and try it out

If it's any help, my old Spacewagon's reverse sensers only got upset when the caravan was attached, the towbar didn't bother them at all even with a bike rack attached, and that was a flange towbar which is much bulkier. My dealer says there's no such thing as a fixed towbar for the Roomster even though I've seen them on the website. Anyway we decided that a removable one would be much better anyway so one is on order.
