Octavia Scout Bootliner

Featured Replies

Anyone know where I can get a reasonably priced boot liner for an Octavia Scout ? Have tried e-bay but they seem to be for estates with a footnote saying ' not for 4X4 ' .

I didn't know the boot floor/area differed in shape for the 4x4? Is it to accommodate some of the gubbins for drive to the rear wheels? Thought it perhaps might be a little higher, but that wouldn't affect which loadliner you could use :)

Depends which type you want. I bought a waterproof fabric one for my 4x4, with the car. Keeps the doggy paws, etc. off the carpet. Does look slightly odd, as it is designed for the estate boot, but I have the VBF. Cost £41 AFAIR Few alternatives here Skoda Octavia est (05 on) :::roof bars, bike carriers, car boot liners and accessories roof bars roof racks roofracks bike carriers even they seem confused as to whether the 4x4 is different!!

Cheers everyone. Will let you know what I finally get.

I've got a 4x4 Estate (not Scout) and I had something from Skoda called a "boot dish". Like a rubber boot mat, but it's made from a flexible plastic and has a 2" lip all the way round, so you can put wet stuff in the boot without soaking the carpet. Cost around £50 if I recall.

It's basically like a shallow plastic bathtub! It's a proper Skoda part too.

Whatever you get, I'd go for a genuine Skoda one. As said above, there's a tougher version available too. I went for the more traditional one, which is still very handy. It's made from rubber, with vertical rubber strips so keeps things from slipping around. I picked it up for a bargain price on eBay, so worth a look :)

Should be more info on the Accessories website:

Then go looking on the bay, armed with the a part number

Grassmere may also be able to assist. You can at least see the range of boot protection items available here:

This is the one I have, P/N DCD610001A:
