Was driving the other day when i fell into a deep pothole.(busted the right front tire) now when i drive and release the gas, i hear a slight knock in the front right area. what could be the cause of this? i took off the wheel n inspected it but found nothing. could it be the ball joint or what?

You could have damaged any of the ball joint, wheel bearing or outer CV joint. I've posted how to check a wheel bearing befre, probably more than once.

It's also possible if it was that big a hit that the dust shield is rubbing on the disc, or that the disc was chipped.
