Im taking my fabia vrs along with my friend who has a supercharged VW corrado g60

Should be fun!

Quite a few of us did it last year and it was good fun. I'm at Chatsworth Rally this Sunday though

Certainly a great way of wearing out old tyres if you need to get rid

Hmm thats a worry.. 2 month old rainsports on the front, 2 years old continentals on the rear, perhaps i should swop them over!

Swap them, definitely! I found that it was particularly the high speed corner that took it out of the front right. We did this first thing in the day. Also the 'figure of 8' type course was quite tough on them with heavy breaking and quite tight cornering. It had started to rain on our day by this stage, which gave the tyres a bit of a break.

These days are excellent, completely recommend them.

If I wasn't working Sunday it would have been ace to give the 328i the send off it deserves (a 'la Octy vRS )

I shall swop the tyres tomorrow, only wish i could get a rear arb by the weekend.. oh well at least ill notice the difference next time!

Have you checked on Whiteline and Jabba stocks? Never say never! You'll certainly be quicker and smoother through the high-speed bend - no question!

Yea but i think i want to get the Jabba one but could only afford the whiteline one at the mo... plus havent got time to fit it... and my insurance company wont allow it either until later in the month when i go over to Adrian Flux...

If you use the search button there are two sessions we have done there in the past, there is also a vid clip of Chicken Eyebrow as a passenger in my old Octy Vrs.....LOL

The search button on the forum will give you the last two handling days we had at North Weald, with loads of photos and clips.

I think there is also a clip of it on you tube somewhere?

On the forum search, put in North Weald Post Meet Discussion, Pics and Vids, then when it opens there are loads of comments, pictures etc and in post 83 you will see the vid.
