Appears to be very little on this forum re the 2009 facelift, so thought I'd try and revive it.

How many have actually got one or have one on order?

I would like to order a facelifted vRS but since the dealers cannot confirm the spec and options I am still waiting.

Dealer informs me it will be delivered about end of June

its at the port ready for despatch

Got to say I have only seen 1 new Octavia in a Skoda dealers showroom not seen one on the road

I've now seen quite a few on the road, both hatches and estates. I guess they take a while to come through the order, importation and delivery process. Not as many as the facelifted and commonplace Golf though (one reason why, despite its excellent reviews, I don't want a Golf!).

I'm hoping for an announcement soon on the availability of a common rail 2.0 before I make a decision to order an Octavia

Seen 4 or 5 on the road now. Having seen them out and about now, I can't say I'm too keen on the new lettering on the rear or the rear lights. They seem to have made it look less distinctive somehow.

I've seen half a dozen or so out on the road and really like them.

The only possible exception is the new style badge on the boot.

I see one every day - next door but one neighbour has silver elegance estate.

Have on order a L&K 1.8 FSI DSG Estate orderd on 15th April and will be delivered today or Thutsday Cant wait to get it WEE:)

Got a 1.9 Elegance In Anthracite about 14 days ago, good car but one minor problem the engine management system will not keep its memory of the Anti-hijack locking facility, the dealer is waiting to hear from Skoda how to cure this problem. (Hope the answer comes soon).

My Elegance 1.4TSi DSG is 'SUPERB' but it is the OCTY . The torque for a 1.4 is nothing short of amazing. It has been mentioned before but it is strange with UK cars that Skoda only sell us the 1.8TSi DSG in the L & K trim - manual only for the Elegance level.

Yes you are right TSI not FSI must be the excitement.

Seen a couple of Estates around.

But only saw my first Hatch yesterday - looks good:)

I took delivery of a silver 1.8 TSI DSG L&K Estate in mid May. It is my first Skoda and so far I am very happy with it.

I've seen quite a few now, I keep thinking their Superbs though:confused::confused:

Me too. Seems awfully quiet about this. CR 2.0 170 DSG and my cash would be on the table

Have had mine since 1st March:D, luckily the car I wanted was already on a ferry on its way to the UK when I ordered it mid February. Have been getting quite a few envious glances from some of the other cabbies with the "old" shape Octavias out there.

But have only seen a handful of other 09 plate Octavias.

Maybe its the recession.............maybe its the fact that they ain't exactly that cheap anymore if you want some decent spec...........

Skoda UK told me a couple of weeks ago there'd be an announcement in June about the CR

Ordered a 1.4TSI Elegance hatchback with manual gearbox 2 weeks ago and was told to expect delivery in September. Although I've been looking out for them on the road I've only seen one (and then I'm not absolutley sure it was not a Superb instead).

As much as I'd have loved a 170CR, my facelift arrives tomorrow... it'll take me bloody ages to work out how to use the radio on the Columbus, I'm sure...!

Having always ran diesel what sort of real life fuel consumpton do you get from 1.8t?
