Superb MY2010

Featured Replies

Hi,

since this Monday, all new Superb orders will be 2010 model. I've asked my local dealer if there are new options available (for example MDI) and he told me something about new wheels but nothing about MDI. Do you know anything?

Thanks in advance.

Urban

MDI is definitely available on the Superb for MY 2010.

It could just be that this hasn't been communicated to the dealers yet. Ask them to check their order system, as it should be in there.

Failing that, it could just be the Skoda UK have chosen not to make it available to UK buyers. It wouldn't be the first time this has happened.

Bagpuss.

Just spoke with James at Allams, and he said that MDI is not showing up for the Superb currently, but it is for the Octy.

The option code for MDI is UF6. You can probably get it by asking the dealer to specify this option code with your order.

Regards,

Andy.

Thanks Andy,

At the moment, here in Spain, the dealer tells me that MDI option is not available. What a pity!!!

If anyones knows some kind of information about it, please tell me.

The MDI is definitively part of the changes for the MY2010, other changes are:

- Heated front screen (optional)

- Repair kit instead of full spare wheel (it's still possible to order spare wheel, but for extra money) ... this is mainly because EU legislation now allows for that and without 5th wheel in the trunk the car is lighter so the emissions are down a bit too (apparently).

- There are 2 new colors (some sort of purplish and grey) and anthracite grey and one other color are being phased out.

- the emission certification is now EU5 (in comparison to EU4 in MY2009)

- Few other things. I can give you the complete list of changes as it was published by Skoda in Czech Rep if you are interested.

Thank you very much.

Could you tell me the complete list of changes? With this list, I'll go to my local dealer here in Spain.

Hi I am just about to order a new superb II so would be also very grateful for any clear list or guidance. I would like to avoid the repair kit for example and also would like to see about MDI. If you could spare the time to send us the list or post it privately I would appreciate your help.

thanks

Thanks for the useful information. UK Skoda MY2010 ordered today:

SE Trim (next level up in UK is elegance)

Steel Grey Metallic

Front Parking Sensors

Sound System

Dimming Rear Mirror

Bi-Xenon Lamps with AFS

Mats

Full Size Steel Spare Wheel

Very glad I checked the dealer's system, because it is correct about the pneumatic kit. Also, the UK brochure doesn't list Xenon as an option on the SE, but it was available to order.

Any ideas if the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Lane Assist will be introduced with the Superb Estate...?
