put my air con on in the car a few days ago, now everytime the fans are blowing cold air it smells distinctly of p!ss, i know aircons that havent been used have an unpleasent smell, usually foisty smell, but this is seriously bad, i thought my nephew had weed in his car seat in the back its that distinct

what can it be?

it will be bacteria inside the bottom of the heater assembly in the car , get done to halfrauds , they should have some aircon deodorizers in stock

or someone or a cat has pee'd on your car

It also helps if your pollen filter is relatively new. My aircon had a delightful vomit-esque smell to it which went after the manky pollen filter was changed.

Run the fan on full blast and squirt some Dettox, or similar antibacterial cleaner in the air intakes.
