Fabia VRS Rear end Dirt

Featured Replies

Got caught in a downpour today, and when I got home my neighbor asked if I had been off roading  The back of the VRS was absolutely filthy, while the rest of the car was spotless. Never known a car to drag up muck and deposit it on the back, like the VRS does. Must be a veritable vacuum just behind that tailgate

I would like to tie someone I know on to the back of the car and ask them if it is really as air-less as the evidence would suggest... :D

yeah its the nature of the spiler pushing stuff down and the exaust derv fumes coming up etc keeping it all in that area = dirt! some mud flaps help this problem and some good wax on the car helps to reduce the amount of dirt that sticks!

It's all to do with the fact that the spoiler isn't slotted - the standard car (no spoiler)doesn't do it. Given that SAAB was making cars with slotted rear-window cleaning spoilers on their estates as long ago as 1959, you'd think someone would have learned?

I have mudflaps on mine ut it still gets filthy. Just one of those things unfortunately.
