I am 36, and live in Northumberland with my wife and 2 daughters, aged 6 and 4. I have been driving a Citroen Xsara for the last few years, but it has recently started leaving a small puddle of engine oil wherever I park:eek:

I am due to pick up a 2006 Octavia 1.6 FSI Ambiente on Wed. and I can't wait TBH. I just hope the Xsara holds out until then.

I really enjoy browsing the forum for any tips, issues, etc. affecting the Octavia and I look forward to gaining more knowledge from the experienced people on here.

You'd be far from the only Skoda owner on here who used to have one or more Citroens.

As to the Xsara, I had a similar issue with my old ZX, which turned out to be the sump!
