Kemble Airfield Day 8th August 2009

Payment must be in by 17th July 2009

Please note there will be NO extentions on the payment, payment must be in by due date given (there has been plenty of notice to save and get your payment in so no excuses please!)

Some of you may recall me chatting to a guy who put his car on our stand from another club it belongs to a guy called Rich who runs Airfield Days at Kemble which is in Cirencester, Gloucestershire,

He charges £50 per car for the day and we have a limited number of cars for day so this will give you all plenty of drive time.

The day is broken into section the morning will be mainly getting used to the surface and what your car is capable of (if you don't already know) then they do a 0 to 60 and high speed runs, moving onto some timed laps and handling practice finishing off with free runs.

Catering and toilet facilities are on sight so there is no need to leave the airfield.

OK folks all details have been added to the events page click here meeting point and directions to the airfield.

IMPORTANT: Please be advised that we would ask non-participants to refrain from turning up at the airfield. We are running a "No Spectators" policy for various reasons, including venue Health and Safety reasons.

You proberbly wont be able to read this til you get back, but really sorry I didn't make it. I managed to get a piece of metal stuck in my eye last night and had to have it scrapped out at hospital. Now my eye is proper sore and I can't drive for the next couple of days.

I'm so sorry to hear this news and I do hope you get better soon bless you.. Thanks for letting me know because you was missed we did notice you wasnt there and not just me a couple of pple asked where is the yellow VRs. Hopefully we will get to meet you another time, and thanks for letting me know cant have been easy typing that with a bad and sore eye..
