After YEARS of waiting, I finally spotted my first Veyron! Parked outside Cipriani's in London yesterday, and I was just lost for words when I saw it...

Saw one on the move when I was on holiday in the States in October. It shot past our sh1tty Dodge Caliber hire car on the Las Vegas Strip at an ungodly pace.

It seemed to headbutt the horizon.

Not seen one, but seen loads of R8's which VW build in a similar fashion.

The Veyron was IIRC a loss leader for VW to prove the concept of stationary car build rigs for higher volumes than the supercar makers like Aston Martin, Bugatti etc.

To me they were forseeing that the production line speed wasnt sustainable. It's great building 100 cars an hour, but can you sell them?

The curious thing is that we all know that beige cars are never sporty

Therefore I have to say that the above shed looks rubbish
