Good idea Weeble. How many signatures do we need for a discount?

It was 5 last time I think...

Go on then - I ran it last time so I'll speak to Paul again and see what I can set up if you want

Well, you can definitely sign me up!

Can you ask him if (for those of us down south) they will let us get ours fitted at SSS rather than going to York please??

Cheers!

Blakey, when I asked that question last time the answer was that they will not match the same price.

Situation could have changed now but I wouldn't get too hopeful.

York's a nice place to spend a day anyway ;)

Are they open on Saturdays or are we talking driving to York, getting the work done and driving home again the same day. I'm right down in Sussex so it's a long old way!

Haha I understand it is a long way. I still think it would be worth it ;).

As I understand it they do not open on Saturdays, again, this may have changed since November last year!

My journey from just south of Birmingham was 3 hours there, 3 hours back.. but I think Sussex is considerably longer ;)

To be honest, I'm up for this but if I can't do it on a Saturday I really think it's simply impractical. So consider me in for a Briskoda Group Buy only if I can (a) get it fitted down south or (B) get it fitted in York on a Saturday.

Cheers!

You think they'd do just the door cards on my SE?

I'm sure they would be more than prepared to do that :)

Hmmm, Google Maps reckons 4:23 from door to door, not taking the M25 into account. So we're talking probably 11 hours driving there and back. That's rather a lot!

Just an aside - I used a local Southampton trimmer to do the seats in my Porsche (an old 944 before anyone starts with the flash git jokes) - very reasonable and cracking quality too.

If that's not too far for you let me know and I'll dig out the business card...

Has anyone on this forum actually used Seat Surgeons South for a retrim? I don't mind paying a little extra if the quality is good as it's a LOT closer for me than going to York...
Seat Surgeons York has its own factory in China which manufactures custom leather seat covers. Seat Surgeons South has no commercial links with Seat Surgeons York other than it gets - or used to get - leather seat covers from the latter. I would expect Seat Surgeons Yorks to be cheaper for the covers it manufactures.
