2 Minor Problems...

Featured Replies

Basically some very kind people from my college decided to let my 2 right tries down on my vRS to almost flat. Funny!

I managed to get down to the petrol station fine and fill up the two tires

But the inspection logo where the mileage gauge is, is still on. Could this be due to uneven tire pressures? Or something worse?

Secondly while I was making this trip to the petrol my friend distracted me and with the tires on my mind I managed to bump the car into a pick up truck in front, luckily though this was in traffic and the car was only moving on the clutch so I was going incredibly slow and had a very very minor bump, no damage to his car but my grill got a bit of a scraping and the badge got scraped/dented  ... the grill scratches polished out ok :) ... but anyone know where to get a new Skoda badge? :)

Got my Skoda badges off ebay, no idea with your mileage indicator though, maybe needs resetting?

I didn't know skoda's had tire pressure sensors? And that they displayed as an inspection light? Surely the Inspection light means you're due a service.

When you turn on the ignition is INSP displayed in the trip computer and a spanner symbol displayed? If so it is the service indicator. If you have had it serviced recently then you can reset it. Either RTFM the owners manual or do a search on here.

Thats the one! Should have checked the manual!

Yeah its due a service this month. I was just worried that something else has gone wrong for whatever reason! It just happened that I noticed it after this little thing happened, people are so mature!

I was pretty sure I pumped them up properly after! I'll check the pressures soon anyway to put my mind at ease.

Thanks :) And I shall check eBay!

Or alternatively Here

And chose your friends a bit better, Or make them take the bus from now on!

haha I dont know who let the tires down, still puzzles me why... wasn't funny! but hey if it happens again I will complain to my college and insist I park in the teachers car park :)

As with the one who distracted me, no harm done, I shouldn't have been right behind the guy in front!
