My fabia now lowered by 40mm

Featured Replies

Fitted my springs yesterday, well half of them anyway lol. Did the back ones myself with the help of a mate, took us around 2 hours, one of the bolts was rusted and was bein a bitch then the springs were stuck tight in the metal plate thing, got there in the end though. The car's going in for an MOT/Service next week so I'm going to get the garage to fit the front ones as I don't have springs compressors. The pics would have probs looked better to compare the front and the back if the front wheels wernt turned, I didn't realise this until now tho lol.

Very nice mate, nice looking car.

Looking good mate, be sure to post when level! ;)

Three cheap mods you could do that would just tweak the look..

1. Get the B-pillar vinyl wrapped in black, or try and hunt down an original Skoda trim kit for it (good luck on that though).

2. Remove the rear wiper (or, replace with Polo Aero wiper)

3. Get a stubby Aerial.

Rob :D

Funnily enough, getting a "shark fin" aerial and Aero wiper were the next things on my to-do list :P

Looks really good mate, i might be selling my vRS wheels very soon. Got TT's coming for mine. Would look really smart on yours.

Just come back from Kavos, had the MOT done when I was away, the front springs were fitted and I also had a new horn fitted, I'm really happy with them, the handling is so much better now, I would definitely recommend lowering your Fabia if you haven't already done so! Only problem is whenever I go over bumps there's a strange clunking coming from the front suspension, it's going back into the garage this afternoon though to hopefully sort out this problem :)

Lookin good bud. An extra inch on the wheels, and paint the calipers and drums and will look the dogs.

Oh and maybe loose the universal back box in favour of one thats meant for the fabia. Not too keen on those ones that point to the ground. Although i can amagine not many companys will do one for a fabia. Not the most commonly modded cars.

Not only do i agree with vrsmeansyellow when he says larger wheels and painted calipers but personally if you can afford it I'd add two other items:

1, Colour coding - get rid of those black bumper strips/handles and it'll look 100% better

2, Have you got an ARB such as a whiteline or a jabba sports? that'll give you even better handling

Nice! :D

Always good to see a Fabia with the wheels positioned nicely in the arches!

Nice set of vRS wheels would look great!

Took some pictures with my Wolfrace alloys on, the reason I have these on at the moment is because I haven't finished tidying up the kerb marks on my mini comps, and my standard alloys have very low tread all round. Notice it's been de-sparco'd :P

Yeah I'm just thinking of putting the old one back on without the crappy trim bit.

Talking of exhausts, I hear you have a new Irmscher one, got any pics up on the old Corsa C?
