Fabia 1, radio wiring colors...

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I bought myself a new pioneer 5100deh, but the colors from my radio are slightly different then the ones from the car itself.

Here is the radio:

The white, grey, green, purple ones are speakers.

The red one is power

Black one ground

But what are the yellow, yellow/green, orange/white, blue/white ones ?

And here is the car:

On the left are the speakers ones, grey and white.

Red is power

Brown i assume is ground

But what about the yellow, blue/white, and the 2 green ones ?

Any clue someone ?

Thanks in advance,

Tuliku

Normally you just get a plug that connects to the two ISO blocks from the headunit.

Has someone stolen the previous radio, as normally there are two block connectors that contain all the radio wiring. I will see if I can find a diagram.

No idea, i bought the car when it was 1 year old, including the old radio. What is on the picture is how it looked like when i took out the old radio.

With my new radio is a connector but with the endings as shown on the picture.

Thanks !

Does anyone have the color schema for a fabia 1 ?

Thanks, but it didn't help.

I guess i will have to visit some shops.

That's pretty shocking what's been done to your wiring. Looks like they've twisted several together, and put some tape over the joins.

I'd be sorting that mess out before you go any further!

A friend of mine who is electric engineer helped me out with sorting the cables.

All is perfectly working now :-)

Installed is now

- Radio: Pioneer DEH-P5100UB

- Front door: Pioneer TS-G1703i

- Back panel: Pioneer TS-G1003i

- Booth divider: Pioneer TS-A6903i

- Trunk: NBN amplifier

Thanks to the guide on this forum on how to do the power cable from the battery to the trunk for the amplifier, it was very easy to do it.

Driving is fun again :-)

Soon i might start another topic about how to clean myself the turbo. But first i will do some more digging.

Bye for now,
