favorit mods

Featured Replies

call me mad...but what would a favorit be like with a streight through exaust sysyem in to a big bore on the back ? looking at new ideas took the spoiler off the front it looked so wrong being all rounded, im thinkin about dropping the car by 40mm would that need diffrent shocks ? i think, lowerd, loud and tinted windows would be better than a body kit....also thinking K&n bolt on for the car......

cheers for any advice or ideas :)

i think you should keep it tidy :D so yeah nice alloys lower.....not sure on the big bore exuast .....but who knows might look good. :D

slammed with flaired arches on banded 13" steels.

then a standard size exhaust with twin resonator boxes.

Favorit with a straight-through system - LOUD!! ;)

Why don't you come and hear Kermit next time we do a track day lol?

hmm i like loud lol is there any engine mods possible on a fav ? i have 2 spare engines to play with

Yes, lots. If it's a carbie engine, pretty much anything that works on the 120 and 130 (S series and Estelle/Rapid RWD cars) except manifolds, which are different for the transverse engine.

Put the RWD one in the boot:) A twin engined Favorit, that would be a first and with the second actually in the car with you you couldn't get much louder.

port the head and get some stainless manifolds made up. then run it on some nice carbs and the cam re-ground (not to lairy mind)

with that done you should get a smooth running engine that produces plenty of usable naturally aspirated power

Not if your standard ones are in decent shape, I'm running 80mm drop on standard shocks. :)

my favorit had a straight through, read 127.9 on the db meter :)

did get annoying from time to time but good for some fun :)

Hey, what springs are you currently using? i want to lower my favorit about 50 or so mm.

Don't be a t*t, keep the exhaust quiet - at least if you're ever going to drive anywhere there are people. There's a guy up the road from me with a noisy (deliberately noisy) Polo and I suppose when he sees us all looking at him he's thinking we're impressed - actually everyone thinks he's a womplete canker. Any other mods yeah, go for it, but noisy is just annoying!

i agree with the exhaust. mine is standard diamiter but with nothing but an 18" resonater at the back.

it dosent have the low drone of a 2" pipe, but has a nice high crackel
