On an aside... Wardy are your quick release number plate holders the Briskoda ones??

Plate holders - mine are original Wolfsburg ones, but the Briskoda ones use the same system, so yes, they'll work in the same way

I fitted one of the Briskoda surrounds on Katie's car. I'm not at home to check, but I'm 99% certain that the Briskoda plates are a surround with the Briskoda name on a tab at the bottom.

BRISKODA.net - Number Plate Surround

They do not have the hinge down section like mine (and I presume like your Wolfsburg ones) and as such they don't clamp the plate in position.

I think the plate still needs to be drilled, with the holding screws going throught this and the surround.

Maybe someone that has one can confirm.

Just ordered myself a set.

Will get myself a set sorted shortly. I was just impressed with the convenience!! Check me out... how old do I sound!

As for the 2nd I have some Family stuff on so will have to give this one a miss but am liking the sound of the camping trip and will hopefully be free for Sept meet.
