The naked truth

Featured Replies

Although it's received good reports, the 1.2 TSi certainly does not score visually. What a mess it looks especially when compared to the decently clothed 1.4 TSi (top pic.)

To be honest I prefer to see whats going on. The plastic covers just get in the way and can be a pain to get off (at least on my octy vrs). Anyway, who cares what it looks like as long as it does the job.

That's what the bonnets for :D

It's probably just that the 1.2 doesn't have an engine cover.

I'm led to believe that the new 1.2TSI is designed and built by Skoda, good reviews so far

The second picture looks like it could be in a fox, and if so none of the engines in that have engine covers.

May be its just me but the Yeti isnt the sort of car I'd have the bonnet open on to impress my mates anyway  I dont care what it looks like tbh, as long as the oil dipstick etc is located in a sensible place thats all that concerns me.

The picture of that 1.2 TSi was actually in a Yeti - it will soon be found in the forthcoming Polo. Also likely to be Fabia bound.

Just keep your bonnets closed, some things are better off not seen !

Incidentally, here's some more success for the TSi
