Hello,

Sorry to hear about your paint problem, but I had a similar flaking paint problem after about 6 months on the front nearside bottom moulding where it met the upper moulding,

Luckily I think, it was still under the manufacturers warranty and had it resprayed 'No Charge'. Skoda do say 10 year paint guarantee, but not clear how to claim. !!! :rotz::thumbdwn:Paint8.jpg?t=1246088214

Mr Ben - I suggest you really need to upload some pictures to allow any meaningful response.

Have you contacted Skoda UK regarding the problem?

after recently having a claim rejected by Skoda UK for water getting beneath the lacquer on my spoiler, the paintwork warranty is for 3 years. The cars then have a 10 year anti-corrosion warranty, which is for rust etc.

I would guess that as a 55 plate vRS, it would be out of the 3 year warranty period.

I am having to get my spoiler done myself...at a cost of £150

£150 just to do the spoiler sounds excessive, whose quoted you that ?
