hybrid leon 130

Featured Replies

ok it started life as a 130 tdi with no mods what so ever, and this happened after 5 days of ownership, and she only had 20k on the clock

after a few months i went to jabbasport for a remap and zorst and fmic later followed and so did my new power of 193.6bhp and 322lbft

after a while i got bored of how she looked so i had lcr kit put on which i got from seat direct and it cost a fortune to be honest..

again i got bored so i swapped my inovite cts wheels for genuine lcr wheels

later i needed more power so i went to p-torque for stage2 hybrid and had problems with maf sensor so she is still not mapped to the full potential but next month i will be arranging with will to go back up to get the map tweked

she is currently running 235bhp and 365lbft torque

ill put loads pics up and i am open to any commemts good or bad

I was loving the look until the orange wheels

Might think different seeing the whole car, but I thought the grey/anthracite colour was loads better. I'm a sucker for subtlety though :D

All in all though, that's a peachy looking Leon, and the mods have taken it to the next level. Sweet

lol there not to everyones taste there going gloss anthracite or black soon though

mmmm thats niiice!!

did that tree do much damage!!

thats brill......... the first page of Briskoda is a Leon with a tree in it......... i did have a little giggle sorry :)

But after looking at the rest of the post..... that is one nice motor. I love that blue and the new leons look amazing in it as well.

I'm with Jigger72 on this one. Glad to see later on that you're going back to Black/Gun Metal Grey. Other than that that's a very tidy looking Leon. Am I alone in preferring the older shape Leon to the new ones?

Looks good, but you need to sort the sig dude as per forums rules :)

Looks really good. Just two questions -- your different steering wheel doesn't have an airbag. How have you deactivated the airbag system on the car, and what have your insurance company said about removing a safety feature that should be there?

Mike

in the boss kit it came with a fuse which i put in the air bag connection to stop the air bag light coming on...

also my insurance company did not say anything except for thanks for imnforming us lol...

flux insurance only charge for power increasing modifications

small update...neatening up and deep clean

ok i was just looking a MDS thread and OMG it makes me realise how untidy my car is and how i can look with some hard erant cash being splashed about and some TLC..

as you can see from my picture my intercooler goes through my slam panel.

Photo0054.jpg

now the company who fitted it did a great bodge but its not to neat or too good on the eye.. so i plan on buying a second hand one measuring it all up where to cut etc then painting it gloss black so it looks all OEM ish lol

also my wheels will be getting refurbed in dark gloss anthracite after i get paid 23-7-09

but i can only get two wheels done at a time so it will take a week or so but hen they will be completed..

i will be needing new pads and disks on the front along with some higher boiling point brake fluid this will probably be done after august pay day along with fuel filter and oil and filter change...

i will be purchasing a nk5 tdi 1.9 engine cover to brighten up the engine bay along with new battery and fuse cover as mine are a bit tatty and frankly just crap.along with my strut brace which ill be painting black at some point also..

after the other night over ebs fleet where i managed to get my brakes red hot literally ill be buying some 256mm s3/lcr rear brakes to try and sort this out a wee bit along with looking better of course

i am also looking at purchasing some golf r32 front brakes to help the car stop bit better..

i have just purchased some team dynamics 1.2 race wheels in anthracite with 3month old falken 912's which are meant to be a lot better than the predasser the 452!!

and after this i will be getting the car detailed and then a new interior and a few other bits..

got to spend a lot of money but i think it will be worth it in the end

now this will take a few months to complete all of the above and i have more plans also but it will be worth the wait...

ok the start of my updating started yesterday with a trip to milton keynes to collect my new wheels and tires... there second hand but the man i bought them off is a clean freak and looks after his stuff so well there like brand new and the tires have only covered 300 miles...

there team dynamics 1.2 race in 18inch and they come with near new falken 912 tires
