Because i only have an auto license, can't be bothered with gears as it is a weekend toy and i do about 1200miles a week changing gears in my truck so it is nice to have a "rest"

Auto scooters are good fun , which is why I'm looking to pick up a cheap Vespa to go along side my car and bike.

As for the GP800 , it went pretty well indeed and it's probably a lot easier to get close to it's maximum performance than an 800cc bike would have been.

You have to be quite careful on a geared bike not to flip it when pulling off as fast as possible.
