just wanting to know if anyone else out there pulls a caravan with a mk1 octavia vrs and if theres any bad points

Yep i have pulled one with mine. They are surprisingly good and very safe. Mpg does drop quite a bit though.

yeah the bad point is theres one more caravan on the road causing tailbacks!

yeh i gather they would be heaver on fuel

With the lower suspesion it does tend to fidget more than the standard Octavia...but not too badly and as said the mpg will drop ..not quite to single figures but 20 mpg seems about right
