cheers people... well i've wanted a revvy petrol for a while as i've had diesels all my days since passing my test in 2005... and from what i believe the vvti's of the toyota's are similar to the vtec's of the honda's... :)

its basically a ctr i believe

I like that mate.

you wont be disappointed with it.

Lol. Less torque than a type-r and 1.7s slower to 60

i've done my homework... 60 is seen in less than 7  it was tested high i believe to receive cheap insurance etc :)

quite cheap insurance too at gp 14

Either way, it's a hell of a lot "less common" dare i say it, that a Civic Type R.

Usually a nice high spec in the Toyotas too, looks a nice example.

I'm guessing it's not the Compresser version ?

no just the 189bhp t sport...

think the compressor was a limited edition run? supercharged...? about 213bhp??

i dont really know... not really into toyota's

my friend does have an 09 auris sr 130 diesel and its a very very nice car

looks nice and a revvy petrol is way more fun than a dirty diesel  saw one coming home from a concert and it seemed ever so slightly quicker top end than my remapped diesel Ibiza and from the way the exhaust fumes smelt it wasn't pootling along

I reckon basically a CTR might be a stretch

what ibiza is yours bud? the pd160 cupra or the 130 fr??

theres a you tube vid of one neck and neck all the way with a ctr

i am actually starting to get used to a revvy petrol,i still miss torque tho:(

i like them and looked at buying one when they came out.

it's a Cupra, it'd need $$$ spending on it to actually stick with a CTR I reckon

nice car like the black wheels

nice one. Good cars. Saw this on pistonheads, out fabia vrs bit in the part exchange search sometimes just for a look and saw this. Better noise off this than the vrs

What mods are you planning for the Toyota?

erm i dont really know tbh?

what can you even do to them?

i know with the ep3 type r's etc you can get a K-Pro thing which bumps them upto around 230bhp i believe...?

it has a K+N Typhoon kit on it already... so im guessing sounds pretty sweet already...

Probaly just keep it as it is... maybe lower 25mm on Eibachs or something

Nice car - my dads work mate has one of the JDM supercharged ones - 241bhp as std!

Always liked these.

Like the Fabia theyre a bit of a sleeper, not many people know about them

quite like this too

also seen it on pistonheads up for part ex with a fabia
