Bulb Warning Light

Featured Replies

Hello all,

Does the Octy 2 have a "blown bulb" warning light? My dealer changed a bulb at the last service, but I don't recall seeing a warning light anywhere previously?

Does the system guard all bulbs, or just a sub-set?

Regards,

Richard.

Yes it does and I know it covers all three of the front lamps (as I had these go one after the other on me :()

I think it also covers the essential lights at the rear.

Do you know which bulb they replaced?

I can't remember, not sure it said on the worksheet either. Perhaps it was one of the non-essential ones?!

I'll have a look when I get home, see if I can identify the actual bulb...

If you can tell the bulb type it gives a good idea as to which has gone.

As i said all the front bulbs are covered, indicators you would know as they would blink too fast and i think the tail and brake lights are covered too. Not sure what else is I have to admit.

Covers all the exterior lights except the mirror indicators and the license plate lights, unless they happen to both be out.

Hence, my guess: a license plate light.

Didn't think it coveres the 4W sidelight bulbs in the Rear lighting C's

Honestly I never had one of those go out, but the brake and fog went out separately and got warned each time.
